Chase Jewell is The New Editor in Chief of Pro Mobile DJ

Hello all! Chase here. I am pleased to announce that I have accepted the role of Editor in Chief for I know this is a huge responsibility but I would love for Pro Mobile DJ to become your source for DJ Entertainment news and education. I will be diligently working to help build up Pro Mobile DJ and to continue the long standing support of the National Association of Mobile Entertainers I feel this is a step in the right direction for the website and hopefully we can build it back to the glory it once had.

Some of my goals for the site are going to be rather difficult in the beginning but I assure you that all of that will be worth it once it is completed. For instance, I would like to bring back great authors like Ben Stowe and Brian S Redd among others to educate all of our readers about the craft of DJing. I also would like to clean up all of the dead links and old information still lingering that should have been corrected in the past. This will all take time but I assure you that it will ensure a great and cohesive experience.

This could not be possible without a great partnership from NAME and its president Carol Keslar. I am eternally grateful for all her support over the years I have known her and will do whatever I can to support NAME and help build it for the future. The goal is to ensure that DJs of all ages and skill levels have access to the same support I did from this great organization. From discounts to insurance to great educational opportunities, NAME is one of the best professional organizations out there with the main focus being on their members.

Thank you for all of your support and patronage during these tough transitional years. I hope to bring educational posts not only to Pro Mobile DJ but to the NAME blog as well. This is definitely an amazing opportunity for me and I promise not to let all of you down. In the immortal words of the great Stan Lee speaking through his Spider-Man character Uncle Ben, “With great power comes great responsibility.” I am aware of the responsibility I have to all of you and will not let you down. Until next time my friends! I look forward to helping all of you!
