Thanks to Scott Davies of the American DJ Group of Companies, I had primo seats next to Ryan Burger’s parents to see and hear my teen heart throb sing live for the first time.
The show was awesome, and whenever I’m at an event, I always pay attention to the sound quality.
I’ve come to learn since then that for their vocals, Donny and Marie use Audio-Technica’s Artist Elite® 5000 Series UHF Wireless System with the:
- AEW-T5400 Cardioid Condenser Handheld Transmitter,
- AEW-R5200 True Diversity Frequency-Agile Dual Receiver,
- the AEW-DA550C UHF Antenna Distribution System
- and the ATW-A49 UHF Wide-band Directional LPDA Antennas.
Yes, I realize that we’re DJs not singers, BUT some DJs do sing, and others want superior quality mics to work with. In either case, this post is for you!
