The “Social Media Bandwagon” now has 700 million members inside. This includes Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube, among others.
They are all free to join, and you can monetize from them.
Surely there must be a place in there for you to promote your DJ business? There is IF you publish messages of value on a regular weekly basis.
Here’s The Key to Success
When you use social media to communicate to prospects and clients, your messages need to be interesting and informative enough for people to save, print and forward them on to others.
So, it’s really the domino or exponential effect that can truly produce uber results with product and brand recognition!
What I mean is, it’s not about just gaining friends on Facebook, it’s about people finding your fan page and joining it. It’s not about posting video on YouTube, it’s about gaining subscribers. It’s not about tweeting, it’s about being re-tweeted. And, it’s not about finding associates on LinkedIn, it’s about them finding you, and wanting to connect.
Make Some Top 10 Lists
How many people joined your Facebook fan page as a result of your last ten postings?
How many of last ten tweets got re-tweeted?
How many new subscribers did you get on your YouTube channel as a result of your last ten videos?
How many people wanted to join or link with you on LinkedIn as a result of your last ten messages?
It’s all about quality and value, my friends. If you’re not getting the results you want — up the ante. If you are, then keep doing what you’re doing.
To consistently gain results, you need to be active in all of the major social media if you expect to seriously monetize your efforts.
How has being actively engaged in social media benefited your company?
